The Santorini volcano has caused devastation in the Mediterranean on numerous occasions. It is not surprising that Santorini is showing activity at the same time as volcanoes are erupting in the Red Sea.

Finally, the sequestered carbon is being released. The Earth today has only 1/1000 of the biomass on its surface as it did one hundred million years ago. People are getting concerned about the thawing of the Earth, but it is the ice that is the anomaly, not the abundance of carbon-based life that used to be here. If we are lucky, this will be the last thaw and Earth will return to its previous abundance of living things. But I doubt we will be lucky.

The recent revelation that the Earth is expanding by the rate of .004 inches means the Earth is gaining nearly 52 cubic kilometers of new material every year. This material is obviously not falling from the sky. It is being generated from within the Earth via fusion (hot and cold) and the Casimir effect.

The expanding Earth evidence supports the predictions of the Aether Physics Model, which quantifies the continual production of new matter in the Universe. Matter is also destroyed from the visible Universe via a collapse of space within the centers of nearly all galaxies. It is the continual churning of new matter and destroyed matter that makes the eternal Universe appear to be only 13 to 20 billion years old, depending upon which direction we look.

The observation that the Earth is expanding at the rate of .004 inches per year is a major development in physics, which the mainstream would like to brush under the rug, as it overturns the myth that matter is neither created nor destroyed.

The expanding Earth theory is assessed in this article on Science Daily:

"The result? The scientists estimated the average change in Earth's radius to be 0.004 inches (0.1 millimeters) per year, or about the thickness of a human hair, a rate considered statistically insignificant."

The expansion of the Earth is claimed to take place over the life span of the Earth, which is five billion years. In just 100 million years expanding at the rate of .004 in, the Earth will increase its radius by 6.313 miles. In five billion years that would amount to 315.657 miles. The Earth is only 4000 miles in radius. That seems statistically relevant to me and solid proof that the Earth is indeed expanding.

This is assuming a constant rate of expansion. If we know anything about nature, nothing is constant. There could have been accelerated periods of growth and dormant periods where no growth occurred.

If anything, the scientific study proved beyond a doubt that the Expanding Earth theory is viable.

This is further evidence that the solar barycenter transit of the solar surface has significantly reduced solar activity. The solar barycenter transit of the solar surface has not extended for such a long period of time in over 6000 years. We can expect it to take about 150 years before the Sun returns to activity levels seen in the late 1900s.

We can expect to see significant cooling on Earth as a result.

The solar barycenter will begin to plunge to the center of the Sun after 2012. By 2020 we could see weak signs of solar activity beginning to return, however, it will take a couple decades before the core of the Sun gains enough momentum to begin building magnetic currents, again.

Nearly every time a comet or asteroid approaches the Sun there is a CME. But according to NASA, this is just a coincidence. I think you can see why I do not always rely on the mainstream explanation for physics and choose to investigate things on my own and draw my own conclusions.

Scientists think the confluence of solar storms and suicidal comets is purely coincidental. There is no evidence of any physical connection between the two, NASA officials have said.

The Aether Physics Model reveals a complex structure for the electron. There is an electrostatic charge, which is spherical, and a magnet charge, which is toroidal. The geometry of the electron is not inherent, but is inherited from the space in which it resides.

Electrostatic charge actually belongs to the Aether unit. The electron is created when a string of dark matter is absorbed by an Aether unit. Thus the electron is a composite of dark matter and Aether, which results in visible matter.

The electrostatic charge of the electron exhibits the spherical property of the Aether electrostatic charge. The movement of the circular string of mass (dark matter) around the electrostatic charge creates magnetic charge.

When scientists measure only the electrostatic charge of the electron while looking for its shape, they see the spherical electrostatic charge of the Aether unit and then assume the electron is spherical. This is a mistake in perception caused from a limited perspective.

If they were to examine the geometry of the electron based upon its magnetic charge, rather than its electrostatic charge, they would see a toroidal shape.

The Standard Model does not yet acknowledge the property of magnetic charge, but attempts to describe magnetism in terms of moving electrostatic charge. Although the two types of charges are intimately related, they are nonetheless distinctly different physical properties.

When the two properties are properly understood and quantified, as in the Aether Phyiscs Model, then it becomes possible to properly unify all the fundamental forces. The weak interaction is seen as a ratio of the electrostatic to magnetic charge carriers and not as a "dimensionless force," as the Standard Model describes it.

We can see the three relatively equally spaced and equally intense x-ray spikes from GRB110223A (or B) There is also another seemingly anomalous and particularly strong solar x-ray spike on Feb 24 around 07:00 UT. This spike appears to be caused by the approach of a large asteroid from deep space, which is heading directly to the Sun. The large explosion occurred in the exact same direction as the approaching asteroid. This is something I have witnessed on numerous occasions.

It does not matter whether the asteroid is still a few million miles out in space, or whether it actually impacts the Sun. Deep space asteroids are in a region of space with a strong negative charge relative to the Sun. The reason comets really explode into a ball of dust is not because ice is boiling off, but because the extreme difference in electrostatic charge of the asteroid relative to the positive electric field of the Sun causes dust particles to strongly repel each other and become attracted to the surrounding space.

This asteroid apparently disrupted the electric field of the Sun by lifting the corona, which led to the explosion in the direction of the asteroid.

When comets approach within a few dozen million miles of the Earth, they also affect the Earth’s electrostatic field and cause the electron flux to go wild. Even garden variety asteroids will cause the Earth’s electron flux to become unstable.

Since deep space objects can affect the Earth’s electric field, they can also affect other aspects of our electromagnetic dynamics, and may also affect our sensors. We need to be aware of these effects when looking at the causes of our signals.

We also need to keep this in mind as a separate event from normal solar activity. As we can see, the background solar x-ray data is low. The four obvious solar x-ray spikes do not appear to be generated from within the Sun, but appear to be caused by external influences. If the conditions inside the Sun were just right, these external influences could sometimes ignite new internal dynamics. But that does not appear to be the case at this time.

Scientists at the Antarctica are enthralled with discovering subtropical plant and animal life near the South Pole. And while this article discusses how life thrived in the Antarctic as soon as three million years ago, there is no mention of the Woolly Mammoths and other large animals living in the Arctic just 11,500 years ago.

The entire Arctic, circle shows substantial peat bogs under the permafrost. These peat bogs were thriving forests and tundra supporting huge herds of giant and small animals; animals that required lots of grass and water to survive.

The ice at the poles is anomalous. It is not the norm. In fact, the so-called global warming is really global thawing. The reason the Earth's temperatures have been gradually increasing since 10,000 years ago is because the ice doesn't belong at the poles and it is thawing out.

The thawing has been occurring long before humans invented the Industrial Age. Long before humans produced significant quantities of carbon dioxide and other pollutants, the Earth was thawing out from an anomalous cooling event. A cooling event that occurred suddenly and wiped out several species of animals around the planet and buried continents under a sudden sheet of ice several miles thick.

Positive Holes (P-holes) in Solar Behavior

I made a curious observation regarding the GOES environment data, today.

According to spaceweather.com, a solar windstream passed by the Earth causing the above geomagnetic storm.

The mainstream theory is that the solar wind is a stream of protons emitted from the Sun. In particular to this day, the protons were supposedly emitted from the coronal hole on the Sun.

But if you look at the proton flux, it didn’t even twitch even though the electron flux dived. This means there was no proton wind, but something else of a positive charged nature was emitted from the coronal hole. I propose that the positive charge was positive holes, or p-holes, as are used to explain the charge phenomena observed by Friedemann Freund and also transistor behavior. According to my research, the p-holes are the positive poles of Aether units aligned such that they face the forward time component of our four-dimensional physical Universe. The negative pole of the Aether unit is facing in the backward time direction, which our physical Universe does not see.

Either I have gone off the deep end, or this is a very important observation concerning solar behavior.

Sun Diving Comet Storm

Spaceweather.com has posted an interesting article on sun diving comets. I have been watching these in the LASCO C3 movies for the past year. There is a stream of comets coming from a single location in space. The scientists now think there is even a bigger comet heading in toward the Sun.

"We have not seen a really big Kreutz comet in the era of space-based coronagraphs," notes Knight. "SOHO wasn't around in 1965 to record how many little comets dove into the sun before Ikeya-Seki. It might be 200 comets per year--or it could be 1000. Without more information, we can't know for sure how soon we might be privileged to see one of the real monsters."

Electric Storm in the Pacific

On Watts Up With That, Ryan Maue posted an article about an unusual storm in the Pacific. This storm looks similar to a hurricane:

Seen from further away, we can determine the location to be due west of Hawai'i:

At the same time as this storm existed, the total electron count (TEC) in the ionosphere showed a separate maximum of electrons in the same location:

There are actually two separate centers of rotation in the above storms, and the western most rotation is the hurricane-like weather pattern, which is under the high TEC west of Hawai'i. In experiments I conducted a few years ago, water vapor is diamagnetically attracted to high potentials. This weather system may be an actual example of an electric-induced storm.

Super Storm Path

Fortunately, the ocean temperatures are not warm enough to cause a super storm. However, Hurricane Igor is projected to follow exactly in the path a super storm would take just before initiating the next severe sudden advance of ice.

The ocean temperatures are really quite cool in the Labrador Sea. If a super storm was in the forecast, the temperatures in the Labrador Sea would be in the 80s and 90s.

However, if you look closely, warmer waters are starting to migrate into the Labrador Sea. It is certainly worth keeping an eye on.

On June 27, 2010 there will be an unusually exact planetary alignment relative to the Sun. John Nelson, an employee of RCA, claimed to have discovered a relationship between heliocentric planetary positions and Earth's radio weather. A paper he wrote is available on Enterprise Mission.

In general, strong conjunctions, oppositions, and squares of the planets coincided with strong radio weather. This could be in the form of geomagnetic storms, ionospheric disturbances, and similar electromagnetic and electrostatic disturbances on a planetary level.

The planetary positions for June 27, 2010 are exceptionally strong. Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, and Uranus are all in a straight line and forming a square aspect to Mercury, Earth, and Pluto. If there is any truth to John Nelson's work, it will be proved or disproved on and around June 27th.

If Nelson was right, we could expect to see strong solar storms, geomagnetic storms, ionospheric phenomena, and strong Earth currents. Strong Earth currents are also frequented by earthquakes and volcanic activity.

Since the outer planets are making a long term angular aspect, many of these phenomena are already manifesting, such as the Icelandic fissure eruption and major earthquakes. There have also been strong ionospheric disturbances.

Is the Sunspot Number being over inflated?

Spaceweather.com provides a daily sunspot number. The sunspot number is not an exact count of sunspots, but rather an index of some kind, which is supposed to reflect the overall sunspot activity. As solar cycle 24 "heats up" the sunspot numbers have been climbing dramatically. However, the actual sunspot activity is barely noticeable.

Take the sunspot number from May 4, 2010. It is 61. One would expect some significant dark spots to be on the solar disk, but this is what it actually looks like:

With a sunspot number of 61, there are only three numbered sunspots, and all three are barely visible. One could rightfully question if solar astronomers from 400 years ago could have seen sunspots this faint.

This raises the question of whether the sunspot number today can be compared to sunspot numbers from 1600 ...during the Maunder Minimum. It may be the Sun is presently in a long running blank phase similar to the Maunder Minimum, but because of different reporting methods the two solar cycles cannot be compared.

Where did all the lava come from?

The National Science Foundation released new information about undersea supervolcanoes.

Each of these supervolcanoes produced several million cubic kilometers of lava--about three hundred times the volume of all the Great Lakes combined--dwarfing the volume of lava produced by the largest present-day volcanoes in places like Hawaii.

That is quite a volume of lava to be pushed up from deep within the Earth at one time. No physical explanation is given for how a large volume of lava could suddenly move from deep within the mantle to the surface of the Earth's crust. Furthermore, the eruptions occur repeatedly over millions of years and in multiple locations on Earth. Unlike volcanoes along subduction zones, supervolcanoes tend to exist in the middle of continents and drift thousands of miles over time. So the subduction theory does not apply.

Neal Adams produced several videos demonstrating an expanding Earth based upon empirically measured sea floor ages. In these videos, the data comes to life showing an Earth growing over time.

The Aether Physics Model reveals the physics for generating new matter. Just as the Casimir effect generates new electron-sized photons from Aether, a similar process (mistakenly called fusion) generates new proton-sized photons from Aether. The proton-sized photons convert to protons within the nucleus of atoms, thus transmuting the elements and adding mass to the Earth (and Sun, Mars, Moon, etc). The transmutation of atoms further causes a continual change in the Earth's chemistry.

(Santa Barbara, Calif.) –– In an analysis of the past 1.2 million years, UC Santa Barbara geologist Lorraine Lisiecki discovered a pattern that connects the regular changes of the Earth's orbital cycle to changes in the Earth's climate. The finding is reported in this week's issue of the scientific journal Nature Geoscience. Lisiecki performed her analysis of climate by examining ocean sediment cores. These cores come from 57 locations around the world. By analyzing sediments, scientists are able to chart the Earth's climate for millions of years in the past. Lisiecki's contribution is the linking of the climate record to the history of the Earth's orbit.
It is known that the Earth's orbit around the sun changes shape every 100,000 years. The orbit becomes either more round or more elliptical at these intervals. The shape of the orbit is known as its "eccentricity." A related aspect is the 41,000-year cycle in the tilt of the Earth's axis.

Glaciation of the Earth also occurs every 100,000 years. Lisiecki found that the timing of changes in climate and eccentricity coincided. "The clear correlation between the timing of the change in orbit and the change in the Earth's climate is strong evidence of a link between the two," said Lisiecki. "It is unlikely that these events would not be related to one another."
Besides finding a link between change in the shape of the orbit and the onset of glaciation, Lisiecki found a surprising correlation. She discovered that the largest glacial cycles occurred during the weakest changes in the eccentricity of Earth's orbit –– and vice versa. She found that the stronger changes in the Earth's orbit correlated to weaker changes in climate. "This may mean that the Earth's climate has internal instability in addition to sensitivity to changes in the orbit," said Lisiecki.
She concludes that the pattern of climate change over the past million years likely involves complicated interactions between different parts of the climate system, as well as three different orbital systems. The first two orbital systems are the orbit's eccentricity, and tilt. The third is "precession," or a change in the orientation of the rotation axis.

Extremely Long Solar Filament

Today on spaceweather.com, there is a story about an extremely long filament on the Sun. This is a sign of the times. This filament, or another one like it in the next few years, will likely unleash an enormous solar flare.

It would likely not cause direct harm to humans, but it is likely to lead to the destruction of our electrical grids and satellite communications. Take this as a warning to keep your supplies stocked up!

Riometer as Earthquake Precursor

Some amateur earthquake researchers were looking for a precursor signal for the Haiti quake. After a list member alerted me to the possibility of a recurring Haiti quake (Meg), I decided to look at the HAARP riometer. Looking back to the January 12th data, there was a clear and sharp increase in radio absorption immediately preceding the first major Haiti earthquake.

I did not found anything in the peer reviewed literature to explain a possible correlation. My guess is the ionospheric absorption measures the ionosphere's ability to absorb photons from radio waves. If we suppose an imminent earthquake is producing p-hole type ground currents, then the currents might be due to the shorting of the ionosphere electrostatic charge. This might then allow the surrounding ionosphere to transfer electrons to the potential earthquake location via electric current or charge displacement. The general worldwide ionosphere electron density for the atmospheric conditions at that time would enable the conversion of radio wave photons to electrons via the photoelectric effect. This would recharge the drained electrostatic charge of the ionosphere. The conversion of radio wave photons to ionospheric electrons appears to be the cause of the absorption spike.

If the above hypothesis is correct, we should then look for measurements indicating electron flow through the ionosphere and see where the currents converge. They should converge at the location above the earthquake zone where the ionosphere is shorting to the Earth.

The shorting of the ionosphere to the Earth would manifest differently depending upon the atmospheric conditions and strength of the p-hole currents in the ground. Thus some "shorting effects" might be the generation of clouds, light discharges, or possibly even tornadoes and thunderstorms. It is also likely that some riometer absorption spikes are caused entirely from a surge in electrical storms around the planet, and in this case would not signal the approach of an earthquake.

I suppose clouds might be an effect of earthquake p-hole currents because I have demonstrated the effect of high electrostatic potentials on water vapor to my own satisfaction. I believe other researchers have also produced clouds electrically in cloud chambers. Also, earthquake clouds have been observed to precede actual earthquakes in many areas of the world.

One riometer may not be able to pinpoint the location of earthquakes, but a network of riometers might be able to. Therefore, this might be the beginning of a viable earthquake prediction technique.

Electrostatic Longitudinal Waves in Atmosphere

Here is a unique video posted on Spaceweather.com.

It shows the rocket launching the SDO passing through a sundog. As the rocket approaches the cirrus cloud causing the sundog, ripples are clearly seen instantaneously emitting from the rocket.

I have done experiments in my lab using a water fogger bowl and a 10,000 volt electrostatic potential. Water vapor is clearly affected by strong electrostatic potentials. I am certain most of our weather phenomena, including ordinary thunderstorms, are primarily electrical in nature. I'm not talking about the obvious lightning bolts and sprites, but the formation of water droplets on dust particles, themselves.

The video provides striking visual evidence there is a strong electrostatic field in cirrus clouds holding the water molecules together. The obvious geometrical patterns of the clouds are clearly caused by the electrostatic fields holding the water molecules in place relative to each other, and have nothing to do with winds.

I believe this is significant and related to Friedemann Freund's work with electric effects in the Earth. The electric effects in the Earth have both electrostatic and electromagnetic characteristics, depending upon whether it is current or just potential.

If the sky already has strong electrostatic structures, then relatively minor changes in ground electricity can cause long distance electrical effects through the atmosphere by electrostatic displacement. Further, electrical characteristics in the ground can produce unique cloud structures, as has often been observed prior to earthquakes.

Molasses Sun

Thankfully, NOAA now has GOES 14 online. This means that even though the Sun is in deep minimum, we can again monitor solar x-ray activity.

The above graph depicts solar x-ray activity for Dec 15 through Dec 18 UTC. There are four distinct solar x-ray spikes; three of them are on Dec 16, and the first of the series in on Dec 15 at about 14:00 to 15:00 hrs. According to my research, these spikes indicate a gravitational wave passed through the solar system at the indicated times.

Usually, the spikes rise and fall so quick that they are as thin as the last spike on Dec 17. The slow fall times of the gravitational wave spikes seems to indicate the Sun is becoming thicker, like molasses. This should coincide with lower solar surface temperatures. Hopefully, someone is measuring solar surface temperature right now. If the solar surface temperature is dropping, that might explain the slowly decaying solar x-ray spikes.

I would point out that slow decays also occur during major X class flares and during solar maximum. However, those slow decays are due to excessively strong magnetic fields. The present slow decay rates seem to have a different cause.

Plasma Discharge Phenomenon Begins

I had predicted earlier this year that we were likely to experience a rare event, which occurs every few thousand years. David Talbott has been researching this phenomenon for the past thirty years, which was also reported earlier by Emanuel Velikovsky.

A plasma discharge has just occurred in Norway.

This is an electrical event caused by the extremely quiet Sun. As the solar winds died down, electrostatic charges began increasing around all the planets. The positively charged solar wind normally sweeps the negative ion buildup away from the planets. As can be seen in the Total Electron Count (TEC) maps, the planet is presently experience a strong electrostatic charge.

Coincident with this strong electrostatic activity is an unusual ramping up of solar x-ray flux:

The quiet Sun appears to be caused by an unusually long transit of the solar barycenter across the surface of the Sun. Furthermore, the solar system is now approaching the Milky Way magnetic plane, which among other things, has a strong galactic magnetic field. It is also the source of the increase in large bollides burning up in the Earth's atmosphere, and also the unexpected large asteroid collision with Jupiter recently.

There will be more of this new and exciting activity occurring in the next several years.

Land Uplift in Alaska

Like a giant fist punching through the earth, a 1,000-foot long section of the beach below Bluff Point rose up 20 feet from the tidelands sometime last Friday or late Thursday, pushing boulders up from the ocean bottom, cracking sandstone slabs and toppling rocks upside down.

Below Bluff Point, a new fissure opened up at the base of the 800-foot high cliff. The uplift could be a re-activation of a landslide that happened perhaps 12,000 years ago.

Scientists don't know exactly what caused the uplift. It would take an earthquake over magnitude 7 to cause an uplift that high, said Peter Haeussler, a geologist with the U.S. Geological Survey in Anchorage.

Another New Comet to Solar System

As reported on spaceweather.com, comet Lulin (C/2007 N3), discovered in 2007, is passing through our solar system. Since 2003, our solar system has entered an Interstellar dust cloud. Since then, numerous new comets and asteroids have been observed. Astronomer Karzaman Ahmad sends this picture taken Jan. 7th from the Langkawi National Observatory in Malaysia:

The near-parabolic orbit of Comet Lulin suggests this could be the comet's first visit to the inner solar system.

And there is the end of your argument. The Sun is the ONLY source of heat in the solar system on planetary scales. Carbon dioxide does not produce heat, it traps heat. If the source of the heat cools down, no amount of carbon dioxide will heat the planet. Conversely, if the Sun heats up, no decrease in carbon dioxide will cool the planet.

You are taking the side that solar irradiance is virtually invariable, yet you agree it is variable. You are taking the side that carbon dioxide heats the planet, but carbon dioxide gas does not produce heat. At best, carbon dioxide gas traps heat, but only if there is heat that can be trapped. Since solar irradiance has declined, average ocean temperatures have also declined. The ocean is the primary source of heat, which the carbon dioxide is supposed to trap. Your argument fails on all sides.

And I did not say you did. I said, "Bill would need to provide sunspot data for the past 300 years, not 30 years..." and then it was my opinion that you would see the unequivocal connection between solar activity and Earth temperature changes.

Because the Earth has polar ice, it has a mechanism for storing heat without significantly raising the atmospheric temperature. Increases in solar irradiance accrue, however, the heat manifests as ice changing to water thus decreasing the Earth's albedo. Fast heating of the Earth from 150 years ago is absorbed by the ice with very little atmospheric temperature change, but when the ice is significantly reduced, the Earth is able to absorb more solar irradiance in the visible spectrum. Hence, temperatures may continue to rise slightly even if total solar irradiance decreases slightly or remains constant.

As Bubu pointed out above, changes in solar irradiance also relate to changes in cosmic rays hitting the Earth, which affects cloud cover. There are several feedback systems related to solar activity.

If carbon dioxide were the true cause of global warming, then a linear increase in temperature would occur. Let us predict the warming or cooling of the coming winter (December 2008 through April 2009). Then we can falsify either the global warming theory or the TSI theory.

Solomons Islands Rise Ten Feet out of Ocean

This follows a strong, and possibly quite distant gamma ray burst. If the solar flares represent gravitational waves striking the Sun, then the presumed long distance of the burst is supported by the relatively long lag from the time the GRB arrived and the late arriving gravitational wave.

This was a relatively long burst, lasting at least 120 seconds. The total length is unknown as yet due to a data backlog from the downlink station.This may (repeat, may) be a very important burst. It was not seen at all at optical wavelengths, but it was definitely detected in the near infrared. If there is significant dust in the burst's host galaxy, optical light can be absorbed, leaving only infrared able to reach us. However, the brightness and fading rate observed don't support this conclusion.The other possibility is that this burst is *very* far away. The data indicate a probable redshift of z = 6-8, corresponding to a distance of 12.7 to 13 billion light years. This could mean this was the most distant object ever detected! Astronomers will be keeping a close eye on this burst over the next few hours to collect more data and try to pin down the actual redshift.

This blog is a live extension to the Terracycles web site. I wrote Terracycles a couple years ago, and then got sidetracked with a physics theory I've been working on. I've been following earth data for several years on a daily basis. From watching and understanding data, I have developed a clear picture of global climate change as it has happened in the past and as it is unfolding now.

We are clearly ramping up to a severe Earth change involving not only earthquakes, volcanoes and hurricanes, but large displacements of Earth's crust, massive tidal waves, and unusually strong solar activity. These Earth changes are not the fault of humanity, but visit the planet on a fairly regular basis.

The paleoclimate and fossil records clearly show cataclysmic events have repeated themselves numerous times. Our species has survived in the past; we will survive again. On this blog I'll show the data and how they fit into the overall pattern of Earth changes. The purpose of this blog is not to create panic, but to help people who want to survive by preparing for these events.
